Jim Jannicke is one of the founding principals of CVL, working as a part our senior management group for 22 years. Jim began his career in the field with years of experience surveying for the Bureau of Land Management across the western united states. Jim earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and was granted his Professional Engineering license in Colorado in 2001.
Jim developed strong grading, drainage and utility design knowledge from his early years as a project manager on many large residential projects. Jim has since mastered the art of large master plan and mixed-use project management and has managed multiple large design teams simultaneously. Jim has long served as a lead technical mentor for CVL’s engineering staff for all facets of infrastructure design and ensures that engineers pursue economical and constructible designs.
Jim provides metro district support services for clients seeking expertise from outside their design teams for compliance with associated legal protocols.
Jim serves as the technical manager for CVL’s communications, design software and computer hardware systems by managing our outside vendors and consultants.
Jim holds the State of Colorado catch and release record for landing a 29-inch Saugeye!
